Aquarium Advice Regular
So I wont do this for a while but i must post my brag! I am in a city, so i have my choise of stores. But I am going to changed my current, vary tropical looking American Cichlid tank to a more Cichlid looking tank!
Taking everything out and adding:
White or grey sand - first time with sand
Mylasin (?) drift wood 2 peices - another first
Lava Rock, 1 or 2 peices - another first
slate rock 3 peices
and maybe some of the fluval chivey stuff or another fake plant item.
So here is my plan: the drift wood in the back corners of the tank. the 3 slate rocks in the middle, staked up is a shape or cave or something, the lava rock in the front corner, or both, and the plants between everything.
Current stock:
In a tall 30 gallon: Right now I have 2 male convicts, one adult and one younger one and a good sized placo. And wil be buying a Firemouh to with them before I do the redesign, since I am buying all the stuff next weekend, and the fish, since i am not going to overpay and have an unhealthy fish ( witch are pet store excell in).
So I wouldl like to here what you guys ( and gals) have to say about it.
