Does raising your tank temp help the fry/juvies grow quicker? And if so, what temp should it be kept at?
I have mine at 76* and some of the babies seem to be growing soooo incredibly slow.

I keep my fry tanks at 84, they grow super quick. Raise the temp slowly over time though, like you would if treating for Ich.

I've never had ich, knock on wood. Thank goodness!

So what's 'slow' mean? A couple degrees a day or...?

Oh! Haha! Lucky you :) Slowly meaning, go up 2 degrees every hour or two...

Ahh ok, thanks!

Yeah as far as fish health goes I've been pretty darn lucky.

I only breed livebearers but their tanks are at a constant 80-84 without a heater. They grow super fast though in my opinion but I have nothing to compare them to.

I was going to ask this same question , thanks alot

God I want my fry to hurry up and grow :)
