Some advice
1 make it a wet pet if you are keeping it (or it will)
2 best in a 75 gallon or larger
3 Get a shatter proof heater
4 don't let small animals or children near the top of the tank when its full grown.

The one I had would rip the heater off the glass and try to swim around with it.

Oh man, seems the common factor in those vids.. huge fish, tiny barren tank and deliberate antagonizing behavior.. not saying they arnt nasty though;) and than there's this big fella haha Red Devil ciclid being handled and tickled. Aweso…: http://youtu.be/qdJADl23PdU

Red Devils are animals. Dovi are the worst though....The fish could also be a Red Bay Snook.

The Haitian cichlid was by far the toughest beast I ever kept and quite possibly the most fun. It's definitely not a snook, the mouth isn't right.
