I have been reading a few posts that Kribensis will make a home out of an overturned flower pot and possibly spawn. What kind of pot and people putting in their tanks, plastic or terracotta? My first thought is to not put anything in the tank I do not get from the lfs.

How big or small of a cave are they looking for a tight 3" square or bigger 4" square?

Would you bleach it or boil it before putting it in the tank?

I put terracotta pots in my tank for my Apistogramms. I just used small round ones. Just rinsed them a bit nothing special. You should be able to see them in the pics in my photo gallery.

put some small stones in the bottom of the pot/cave. this is where they'd normally look to lay their eggs, so I have read. I did it with my kribs, and they spawned 4 times before my female went missing. I've replaced her, but so far no new fry.
