Whats wrong with my JD

I started to notice that the stomach on my JD has gotten alot bigger. It looks like a tumor or something I tried getting a pic but I can't get one that shows his stomach very well. Can anyone help

Maybe you could give us some facts about your fish.

Is it a male or female?
How old is it?
What's the size of your fish?
How many gallons is your tank?
What else is in the tank (fishwise)?

I have a 55 gallon with a couple African chiclids in there. I don't know the sex of my jd but he is about 6 inches long

If its a female she could be carrying eggs

I have no other jd in the take just that one

Just because there are jo others doesn't mean she won't produce eggs and carry them....my female convicts bellys get swollen from carrying eggs
