Hello there!!
I have a pair of rams, the water is in perfect condition.
All of a sudden, the male has stopped eating and tends to stay at the back of the tank. There are no other obvious symptoms, his fins are nice and erect and can move around the tank. When I first got the fish the fish were rubbing against the bogwood and we thought it might be ich. I increased the temp to 30 degrees for 10 days to kill it off. I might be imagining things but it appears his gill cover are slightly swollen as they don't sit flat against his body and I'm sure they are turning black. Could he have gill flukes hence the earlier rubbing?
If so, what should I do now? The temp has been dropped back down to a normal level of 26 degrees.
Thanks
