What's your favorite peacock you have?

This is my taiwan reef had him for about 5 months he was very dull and just recently started showing color

My fav! Sorry he was in a fight with my snow albino cichlid (don't know it's name) so has a bit of a wound on him! But he's really showing his color

Vary nice peacocks I forgot to mention the black one is a sulfur head and the other I don't know my LFS couldn't tell me either

My favorite is my Aulonocara sp. lwanda, i dont have a picture though. Also taiwan reef is a hap not a peacock. Peacocks are species of Aulonocara

Your first one looks like a German red to me

I was looking at this web site http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/results.php?genus=17 but I wasn't sure as I am no peacock expert

Im not sure if the German Red is a man made or not actually, the ruby red is a very close one too, and now that I took a second look the german red is first one there.

Here are my favorites. They don't like my camera for some reason The one that looks like a red shoulder I am actually not sure what kind it is. from the red strip back it changes color it changes from yellow, pink, purple, last night when I took the pic this is the first time it looks blue. Its very cool. There is a blue orchid in one of the pics that is really pretty but I don't have a good camera so he just looks kind of black.

Red Empress is a Hap not a peacock as for the type, there are a few morphs of Protomelas Taeniolatus the "blue fire" looks similiar
