Well, I ended up getting some cichlids that outgrew my tank. I got rid of them, but I later found babies. So now that it has become a community planted tank, I want to give them to my LFS. I have 2 that are about an inch and a half. When should I take them?

Depends on the species really, most LFS won't take convicts or kribs because they're just so common and prolific

I think they are demasoni-Kenyi hybrids though. That's my problem. I don't want to give them to the store (even though they're very pretty) Because it'll kill the genetics. HM. Idk what to do.

I'd either find a way to keep them or euthanize them both, especially if your unsure of their lineage.

I have someone that wants them (put an ad up on here). I have some really tiny ones so ill ship them when they get big enough. So relived.
