Yellow labs advice plz

Question: I have 2 yellow labs. One female and one male. They spawn like crazy but I just noticed the female has her tail fin a bit nipped at. I watched them and doesn't seem like the other fish are bothering her at all and she's not scared to be around them. Could the nipping be from the male lab? Because of the spawning or during? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

For sure! My Yellow Lab male does the same thing to my females

Oh man I was really worried cuz there's been no aggression at all in my tank for so long. Thanks so much for the reply. I am thinking I might need a few more females but my tank is a 46 gallon and I think it's got as many fish as it can hold.
