Has anyone ever used zip ties to attack plans to driftwood? I thought I had fishing line but I don't, and now I have everything pulled apart and I'd like to use zip ties... does anyone see a problem with this?

I'm guessing you mean attaching plants? I don't think you'd get that great of a hold using zip ties, plus there is no way of telling what they used in the plastic to make them. The cleanest look is to use black/green/brown cotton thread or gel type super glue.

Zip ties are harmless in aquariums, whether they work well for plants I couldn't say since my fish hate plants more than I do!

Tiewraps are Sharp when you cut the end off. I work with them and have cut my finger on the cut off part. If you trim the end I would just make sure it isn't sharp

Yup zip ties are fine to use in aquariums. I also dont think it would hold the plants very well.
