Will the shrimp be ok for a few days until I change water again?

The goby shouldn't be having to many problems at 20. However the shrimp will. I'd do two 25-30% water changes back to back.

Personally, if anything is out of whack on my tank, I fix it immediately.

Ok. I'll do a 3 gallon change tomorrow morning.

Sorry guys. The nitrates are about 10-12 not 20. The water was in the car for a while before tested. I will still do a 3 gallon change tomorrow

Don't see how that could have affected nitrates though.

The water being in the car would not cause nitrate to do anything, if it's in the water it's in the water no matter what the temp is. You don't have your own test kit?

I added a few as an experiment then bought another 2. I have star polyps, yellow polyps, a plating monti, white zoanthids, and a Xenia. Every tank is different so make sure that your water is good before adding anything
