Yeah I'm actually very impressed with the par38. You can also look at coralcompulsion.com's par38s they have a few different options

If you go with a coral compulsion bulb get the 120* optics it will give you a little wider spread.

Hi just tagging along. I am also interested in starting a 10 gallon reef, I am also 14!! LOL. Anyway nice tank!! It looks awesome!! Keep up the good work.

On my ten gal I'm runing two koralia 240s and my return pump is 170 gph so I got about 650 gph in mine so 65x my volume of water!

Just bought a light fixture and returned the lights. Ordering the par38 from reef koi tonight

How hardy is frogspawn?

+1. If you want euphies I would stick to hammers and frogies, torches are a little to aggressive for 10s IMO.

My lfs said they were delicate and they have sweeper tentacles that would hurt everything
