The api kit can be hit or miss for alk, but it's better than nothing. Do a few and see what you come up with.

Do you know your calc and mg too? Do you know what levels your tank usually runs at? 9 dkh is fine assuming that's where it stays stable at, because when it comes to sps stability of the trace elements (especially dkh) is key.

- sorry guys but I had to get that skimmer I have a big air pump ready for it. I read reviews and was advised to stick the bottom on so it won't fall off.

Fragged off one nice part and a bunch of babies. Since in switching tanks soon, I glued all zoas that were small or on frag plates to the ked red rock. Now I have the keds, watermelons, hurricanes, and those new ones I liked on one rock. sad news though... Red monti is un-salvageable I looked and it is just too hard to cut off.

I'm doubting that your phosphates are really .000, that low could cause harm and is really not easy to achieve.
Alk is also on the higher end.
