Yep. Lol. They are good but they keep getting dimmer. They're a pain to fix too.

The national aquarium in bmore has one, albeit in a huge tank that's pushing 8.5". Thing is massive haha.

You're giving your opinion on his tank. If he likes the scape and it prevents dead spots I don't see a problem.

He will always have dead spots IMO. No one can avoid them. As for the scape, hmm well...enough said.

I have 0 dead spots in my tank... Everyone scapes differently. There is no right or wrong way to do it
