ooo pretty :) I love corner tanks..do you find the glass hard to clean at all? my nano has curved corners and a curved front...the corners are a bugger to clean

Nice setup Mistaflicksta - I've always like the corner tanks.
Nice array of colours and fish.

I dont mean to be rude, or the "Tang Police" - so please don't take this the wrong way, but your hippo will outgrow your tank quickly. Any plans on upgrading? They need a lot of swimming space otherwise they get cramped, stress and succombe to disease.

I have a deal with a lfs to trade in the hippo once it grows about an inch. The guy said that i could trade him in for another tiny one and keep doing it as long as keep the fish healthy. Im trying to convince my wife to let me buy a 125gal that is being sold on craigslist localy. That way I can have my wifes Dory without feeling guilty about cramping the tang.

I wish I could. If I was single I would do it in a heart beat. I had to pitch the finding nemo scene to my new wife to get a new tank. She had seen my old tanks in pics but didnt want me to get a new one because my mom had told her how much I would spend each month on my tanks.

having said that I am heading to the LFS I have $200 burning a hole in my pocket and I need corals!:devilish:

well I got an email today from aquatraders.com that they couldn't ship my order because they don't ship to unconfirmed addresses. Well they refunded my money and now I had to reorder the lights and had to use my moms address. This means that it will take about two weeks before I get the lights. I will update as soon as I get them

corals are still doing good with 130w PC but I cant wait till I hit them with 380W of Metal halide combined with PC

130w PC + 250w metal halide. I cant Wait till the corals take over the tank, Its been 6 years since ive had a tank. now Im like a little kid in a candy store.

Remember the sudden increase in light intensity could shock some of your corals so start with the MH high up and then lower it to the point where you want it. Leave the PC off while your doing this. Take your time, at least a month. :)
