What are the cautions if any on adding a piece or two of live rock or dry base rock to my 8 weeks old esablished BC14?
Will adding start a new cycle??
Thanks

8 weeks old is nots still very young system.
Depends on how big the tank is? How much rock is in the system already?
Than how many pounds you want to add more ?
What livestock you have in the system?

Not knowing the above I would say wait.

14 gallon Biocube just want to add another small to medium piece. Tank is running great with a Clown and two damsels live sand and 10 lbs of live rock in tank media basket with CPE,Purigen and floss, protein skimmer.Saw

Base rock is fine to add, live rock is fine to as long as it is completely cure and not left out of water.
