Just cleaned my tank 2 days ago, and did a 25% water change, all perimeters are good. Why is this red hair algae growing and making a mess of my tank?

Are you sure it is hair algae and not cyano or red turf algae.

Looks like cyano to me too. This stuff will spread, so I’d try getting rid of it. It will feed on any nitrates and phosphates in your system and can be hard to completely get rid of. I’d recommend frequent water changes to keep nitrate levels at a minimum and physically removing as much as possible each time.
