This awesome Yuma that I love is splitting, so I'm pumped about this one

The big purple one up front split on to this shell, so I put it in my other pico

I also added an arrow crab and a horn coral frag to the LED Pico

In the bottom right You can see the first shroom that split from the green fluorescent one that was added to this tank about a month ago is starting to get its color

I am still playing with the light in the LED tank, because I keep frying my purple zoas. I have the whites turned almost all the way off and the blue are only about 10%. These light are super powerful on this little tank, I'm just going to have to watch the corals closely. The Horn coral is my first Sps Frag in the Picos so I'm excited to see if the tank can support an Sps coral, I'm a little skeptical myself.

As for the CF tank its growing like crazy I think very coral in the tank has or is in the process of multiplying / splitting. This might not be a big deal to most; but I am blown away these little tanks can support all of this growth, they are basically stock besides the Lights and I add no sups to the water

 I was gonna mention the closed zoas, the only thing I can think of is moving the LEDs off the tank, as in higher. I'm surprised if you're frying zoas the mushrooms are still alive though.

Looking awesome as always, digging the sexy and harlequins myself :)

I've heard zoas don't like LEDs. Not sure why that would be, but I've heard it before.

I finally moved in to my new house about a week ago, I have been staying with my brother while my wife and I found a place to live. So I have been super busy moving, unpacking, and getting settled in, but here are some updates on the tanks that I have been meaning to post.

In the CF tank the Yuma shroom that thought was splitting actually split in to 3, so that’s awesome.

The Green lavender shroom was getting too big so I moved it to the bottom left side of the tank. This little tank is quickly starting to get out grown, at least it’s a good problem to have. I was worried about the two white growths on the underside but they have already disappeared.

Here is a scary pic of when I had to move both the tanks to the new house………

But the move when really smoothly and everything is fine, I just drained them half way, plastic wrapped and taped the tops on, sat with them next to me in the car ride. Very easy, another plus of the Pico.

Awesome! Glad everything went well, I hope mine does as well.

This won't take long to fill in, but I'm looking forward to updates!

Now the LED tank, this tank has a eventful 2 weeks. I figured out the LED lighting problem, the Zoas that were burnt are now opening back up and look fuller, most of their color is gone but I’m hoping over time they will come back. The SPS I put in is still doing well, that blows me away.

The Arrow crab and the Harlequin get along well, but sometimes the fight over the C. chip star legs I throw in.

He has been cleaning the tank of the bristle worms like a champ!

The other night I found this guy cleaning my glass, at first I thought it was a zoa munching Nudibranch but it’s a Stomatella Varia.

This a crazy zoa I got from y LSF, I’m not sure the name of it. If anyone has an idea what it is let me know please. It’s pretty sweet though.

Aside from these tanks now that I’m in the new house I can finally start back up my 45 build. I just installed the RO/DI last night, and I have the tank built and ready to go, I still need to build the sump, stand, finish the mix station, and much more.

So I guess I will be starting another build thread soon……

Nice! That's why you drilled in the bottom, I didn't realize you were gonna build you're own overflow!

Looking forward to that tank too!

Thanks, the tanks has been done for a few weeks now. Its been hooked up to a mag 7 pump and is just sitting with water running through it to test the plumbing and for leaks. So far all is good, I'm still trying to decide what to do for the stand.

Everything is looking healthy and fully open in both tanks, so the move seemed not too stressful on either. We did lose the porcelain crab how ever....

Right after I snapped this the Pom pom grabbed him and carried him off to his secret hideout.
