Has anyone taken out the false floor from chamber one in their biocube 14. If so, how and was it hard? I'm currently running an intank MB in chamber 2 and stock pump in chamber 3. I recently purchased a eheim jager 50w heater for the tank and it's huge! I was wanting to put the heater in chamber one instead of the display tank.

I actually did it. If you look down there with a light you will see a grate like thing. I took a long knife and cut a couple of the grates enough to get a metal hanger with a hook underneath it. I then just pulled a few times and it came up. I couldn't believe all the gunk that had collected at the bottom of the chamber that was previously impossible to get to. It also increased the amount of water going into to the media rack a little. I'm glad I did it!
