Bubble tip anemone

If my bubble tip
Was dyin or dead would it still stick to rock ? One day it is out and next day it appears kind of shrivelled up. Any thoughts please

Ive never owned one but plan to get one soon, I worked in a high end fish shop as a marine and african cichlid speciallist, So im not the greatest when it comes to inverts but i have seen a few shriveld up and sticking to rock but its no as good of a grip as it would be if it was healthy, If i looks like its
Melting its probably on its way..

They often shrivel up. It's completely normal as long as they open back up after a day or so. They do so to expel waste.
