Haha the "stud" was a typo and was supposed to say "the" haha! Sorry! The gobys name is joben! If you have seen I love you man you would get it! Pistol Pete and joben!
The guy at the fish store said that my pistol shrimp would "kill everything in my tank"... I was like... It's barely an inch ... I think I'll be fine haha

Well, pistol shrimps COULD kill just about anything it wants to, on YouTube search pistol shrimp and there's a video of a pistol killing a cleaner shrimp. It's a very educational video. The trick is To make sure that he stays fed. Using a turkey baster, I put a bunch of food directly into the burrow opening. Also, I'm pretty sure that my ruby crab (think emerald but pink) killed my wrasse as it slept on the sand bed. I've read a lot of stories about emeralds and rubies killing fish, so make sure he's well fed too!! those crabs are nocturnal, so they're awake and searching for food while all the fish are sleeping in crevices and on the sand. And the crab can fit into any crevice that the fish can fit into.

I couldn't remember pistol Pete but I knew you had a good name for him! And I like Joben. I've not seen that show you mentioned, but I like the names!
If pistol Pete is going to "kill everything in your tank" then I imagine he will chase the crab away. Lol!

Spot feeding it would work but you don't want to feed only brine shrimp. That's not healthy for any livestock

I use those sinking pellets I have (similar to the ones you got I think). I have just dropped it in and he finds it, and I have spot fed it with tweezers.

They'll eat whatever the fish are eating. Just make sure some gets to the tank floor for him to have. Or drop some right by him. Some of them hide a lot, some don't.

Thanks guys! I tried spot feeding the crab and he didn't seem interested. Maybe the food I got is bad or something! Is there a food you guys really recommend?
Also, should I add to my CUC?

Your crab may not be too hungry if he has been able to find alot of food on the rocks.

Hey everyone! I got my first coral yesterday! I believe it is a starburst polyp. I also got a few hermits and another snail! So my CUC is completed and now I'm just seeing how the coral is going to do! Last night it looked like it was doing really well! I will post a pic later today of it
