Everytime my hands in the tank, he jumps on it haha! But he seems to only come out when the power head is off :/ maybe there's to much flow?

You've got that red and white (coral banded?) pistol shrimp right? I saw one today! Way cool!  how's everything going?

I plan on making my reef a peaceful tank with lots of shrimp. Are the peppermint shrimp ok with corals and other shrimp?

So far they have been perfectly fine! but it's only been a few days! But so far so good!

Got home from a weekend with my dad and my tank was a mess. My mom told me the power head fell. I hate being away for more than a day. Also my gsp was looking terrible so I took it out. Sad day 
But I got some awesome mushrooms from a local guy here! Will post pics later

Sorry to hear that. How was the concert? Hope things recover. Why'd you take the gsp out? It wasn't dead was it?

Concert was great! brad paisley is great live!

I've been having a lot of problems with it, and it was only getting worse! It was making a mess :/ it was on the verge of dying!

Tanks doing much better! Coral looks great! Only 20$ the guy has some great corals, il be getting more soon!
Here's the gsp. I took it out and put it in tank water and this is how it looked after 5min... Not good. See all the stuff it had on it

Like the red accents in the mushrooms. Wow that's strange, I've never had a problem w/ my gsp (had it for almost a month now) and it has only closed up 2 times for an hour or two, maybe b/c a snail was on it. What guy did you get those from?

They did great at first, but after a few weeks they started to die! I got the gsp from my lfs. Which isn't a good store, never buying a coral there again!

I know fish stores don't guarantee livestock to survive, but maybe you can tell them that your coral did fine at first then died for some reason (include info about parameters) and you no longer want to shop there...something like that, but kinder and maybe they'll offer you some credit or another frag.
