It's a sand sifter, as soon as I acclimated and put him in he went straight down in the sand so hopefully he will be okay.

22engine you can do all 3 IMO your good with water changes do I don't see any issues. My tank is maxed out but I'm still replacing the fire fish that died.

Also try and get a male/female (cardinals) if you can.

Sorry I'm in late for this. Also be careful with star fish most aren't reef safe. There hard to keep. I love my harlequin shrimp and watching her prey on the chocolate star fish when I drop it in the tank.

Yes convict you are slacking off lol. How do I tell the difference. I went and got the citron goby today. Man is he small. Going to do another water change today cause with all the stuff I have been dripping I have been Doing a lot of top offs with distiller water and it's messing with my salinity. Got some reef crystals yesterday and I am going to do the change with that mix.

How did you acclimate the goby? I hope yours does well! Mine didn't do so well. Share a picture if he comes out into the open!

I want one TOO!!!

Just a little info for all of you. Not sure if it will help. When I drip acclimate I do it for 2 hours and I have a tiny air stone running while I do it.

Not sure if it makes a difference but I felt aerating the bucket while dripping might help since I do 2+ hours. Sometimes I set the buckets all up and go out! Seriously I did that once and it turned into a 4 hour drip!

Convict I don't want to knock your way of doing things, no disrespect, but I float the bag in my tank water add one cup of my water in the bag and then I wait like 15 minutes and dump the water with fish in my net and add the fish to my tank. so far I have 2 thriving ocular is clownfish ( hope I spelled it right ) and 1 yellow clown goby. I did not know I had to do the drip thing. My LFS told me to do it that way.

No disrespect taken my friend

I'm a firm believer in the drip method and yes I've been told by others and people from my LFS that I can do the same you do as well. I figure no harm done in my method. We all have our ways

I'm glad it all works for ya.

Looks like I missed a lot of action today! Work was crazy and just now got off so I'm slacking on my game. Great looking goby that's the one I wanted but settled for the yellow. The green version of that is awesome as well. The starfish is doing good and seems to be cleaning the sand nicely. I'm hoping to get a chance Sunday to go look for a toadstool or some kind of leather. Everyone have a great weekend.
