Here it is. I've got ideas for one more archway so I need 2 or possibly 1 more piece of liverock. I wanted to create more hiding space for creatures, more open sand for a brain coral, maximize surface area for coral placement while also creating a higher shelf for corals that need higher lighting and higher flow. Plus it sorta hides my filter intake thingy. The arch idea I have in my head is going to look good and make more space for coral in the lower region of the tank.

Are you putting an entire cube of bloodworms in? You might simply be supplying your system with an ammonia source too big for it to process if that's the case. It would be the same thing as putting too big of a fish in too small of a tank.

Just wanna comment on the be scape. And please I do not wish to insult at all. It is not my intention I'm just being honest. I believe in being honest and offering my perspective on aqua scaping as I do take it very serious. Whew lol with all that being said.
Keep in mind, the right side will be near impossible to keep clean even with the nano mag due to the fact that the rocks are leaning against the glass. Also if it were me I'd use all live rock or all the same color at least for a more natural look. Maybe 2 nice size pieces of live rock. Remember this is a very small tank. You want to give the tank the illusion that it's bigger when takin pics and also while viewing in person. Sometimes less is more.
I look at your tank and think. 2 small pieces on each side and 1 larger piece on top and with that you will have created a tunnel or cave which will give the tank depth and appear deeper and bigger then it is.
Also with the 2 smaller pieces on each side you'll make the tank appear longer as those pieces will stick out in front of the top piece make sense? Also you will be able to get to all 3 sides of the tank to clean. You will lean the top bigger rock against the back glass, who cares about the back ya know?
This is just my opinion of course, but if I'm not honest then I wouldn't be respected in this forum.
I respect you and you know that. I mean no disrespect at all

Stopped at LFS to get reef crystals and had a look at the goby. He didn't look happy. Something took a chunk out of his tail and he wasn't swimming much. Just hanging out on the side of the tank. He did eat when they guy fed them. He's in a tank with a baby blue tang, some emerald crabs, Pom Pom crabs, a couple other fish I don't know what they were but they were smaller than him. Guess we'll see how he is in a few days when I go back.

Thank you! I appreciate the input. What if I were to tell you that the right side faces a wall and the only thing between it and the wall was the dog bed so there is no viewing from that angle. I've actually contemplated putting a black background on that side too. And I think I understand what you are saying about the rock colors as well. I will play around with it tomorrow when I remove water for the pwc and see what I can come up with. Thank you for your honest evaluation. You brought up some points I hadn't thought of!

Your welcome!
It does help that the one side wouldn't be viewed so now I see why you did it and it makes sense.

I am an idiot. Wanna know why? I'll tell you.
I used 1.5 cups of reef crystals in my 3 gals of water that already had 1 and 1/4 cup of salt... So that's... 2 3/4 cups? Well.... It's way too salty. Duh. I've made enough for 5.5 gallons of water I think.
Read directions dummy!! 1/2 cup per gallon!! GAH!
Well I guess I will be doing a 100% water change after I get a few more gallons of RO tomorrow...

Rely on your refractometer or hydrometer for the sg reading. When measuring it can be off, by a surprising amount.
