i have a 10 gallon saltwater tank and i got grape caulerpa bout 5 days ago. it just started turning white 2day i only run the light for 3 hrs a day cuz im trying to get rid of hair algae im slowly increasing the hours of light 2morrow it will be on for 4 hours wat should i do bout should i throw the white pieces out?? please help

i took it out already i read from other places that its bad when it turns white and my light was on for 4 hrs and 2morrow its gonna be on for 5

is it good that i removed it or if it happens again i cant just leave it in??

If it was turning white then you did right to take it out. It would have turned your water milky looking. Grape calerpa needs 24 hour lighting and constant pruning IME. I keep my 40 gallon sump full of it.
