Hair Algae with Mushroom cluster?

What can you do for this hair algae? Here is the pic below in link. I don't want to get a problem in a new tank

Manually remove it. Scrub it in some distilled water with a toothbrush.

Will that hurt the mushrooms on the rock, being out of the water, how long can they be out, or should I put a sw moist paper towel on them?

Just drain a little tank water into a bucket and do it in the bucket. Use a soft bristle brush, and don't directly scrip the mushrooms. And corals can be out of the water for short periods of time with out harming them.
