help is my starfish commiting suiside

It keeps climbing out of the water not a little bit all the way I have to keep knocking down

It Would help to know a little more about your tank.
Tank size, equipment, other inhabitants, how long it's been running,...

Also, do a full water test and post the parameters.
I have snails that sometimes crawl out of the water, that happens...

Give us a pic of what it does. They will climb to the top and kind of hang on with two legs and "fold over" and kind of float at the top. Feed it a chunk of squid or shrimp or something. It's what they do.
