ID help needed

I have found a couple of these worms in both of my reef tanks and they seem to multiply, first are they reef safe & second should i try to control their population?

You can actually buy them for around $20 a piece at many LFS, I kind of wish I had one. Very neat that they are reproducing in your tank!

Sorry for the confussion, i bought the feather duster im looking at the pink worm along the glass/substrate
 
Good part of your cleanup crew. Really only a problem if you over feed. Don't touch with your bare hand their bristles will stab you and feel anywhere from like fiberglass to fire in your skin.
 
They are never really a problem- the overfeeding is the problem. If you see a lot of them, they have an abundance of food available.
