Got the wp25 powerhead today... Dang it's so powerful. Can't put it anywhere because now my tank had a sand storm again. Where should it be placed? How do I set it to really low gph mode? This thing is crazy.

Which controller do you have?
There are several different modes.
W1- Wave mode - Adjust the duration of the wave and how long it is apart using the knobs. Pulses.
W2- Flow Making mode, Long or short wave sports.
H- Constant Flow, adjust using P1 and p2 buttons.
Else- Powerhead flow ranges from 10-100% randomly.

I have the dual head controller so it's a little different. Else mode is what is causing the sand storm. I'd take it off and play with the other modes. Didn't it come with a manual?

Jbj 30 rimless
I have a jebao 25 on my jbj cube and Im running it on a dimmer to lower the power and it pulses nicely though the whole tank. Dimmers can be purchased at lfs or hardware store for cheap
Btw I run on W1 and S1
