Jbj 30 rimless

Hi everyone, as you may know I have a 10 gallon nano reef. It has been fun but the saltwater bug bit me hard and now I have purchased a jbj 30 rimless.

Started two days ago. Put sand and rock in yesterday.

Sand in water is still clearing up.

I used rock from my established tank and 23 pounds of dry rock.

I just upgraded my media baskets to run poly-filter as well as stock filter media.

Why put a lid on it? Rimless tanks are supposed to be open top

Jbj 30 rimless

I hope this will be like your first build thread that you started what seems like a long time ago. Your hobby has come a long way. Awesome job!

Are you going to get a controller or is that a waste of time for you?

Thanks! I certainly have learnt a lot since when I started. Controller for light? It's a 350 not 360 so no controller. Controller comes with powerhead though

I meant like an apex or a reef keeper. I flew by the part about the pumps coming with one.

So, are you going to change your screen name? I like your scape. What are you planning for stock?

If you want the flasher skip the 6 line. I wouldn't do the angel either, they need more room.
