Kessil a150w placement above water

Hey everyone im trying to figure out high high up i should place my kessil a150w ocean blue 15k on my nuvo 16 gallon as of right now i have them about 5 " above water surface stocked with a rbta , soft corals and some lps but plan on adding some sps trying to get info from some one who might already be running kessil 150s on their tanks

Bribo runs one on his 20g rimless. It will support anything you want really. Except, how old is your tank?

Mine is so about 7" off the water and grows sps great

Yes they really are the 360w are even better

Have you had any coralline growth with these lights

I have but mainly on the glass/skimmer/ powerheads

Do you dose any thing

I don't. I used to and then I switched salts and haven't had to dose anything since.

Iv never been able to get it to grow with leds only with t5 atinics

Hmm weird. It grows slow in my tank but it grows

How olds your tank

It was upgraded from a 10 so 1 year and 8 months but only 9 months with the kessil over it
