I know a lot of you have seen the pictures I just put up and have commented on how clean my tank is, thank you! The thing that still boggles my mind, is the amount of dirt and stuff that comes off my live rock EVERY DAY! I am constantly using a turkey baster to blow dirt off.

It doesn't look bad, I mean you can't really see it... but it collects in small caves and where there is little water movement, so I am trying to move it around.

Does everyone else experience this also? And am I doing the right thing?

Thanks!

Try adding more water movement with powerheads. I have 2 Koralia's pointing right at my live rock

There is always going to be junk that gets into the holes and cracks of your live rock. For the most part the micro life in your tank will take care of it. It breaks down and is taken out of the tank as nutrients eventually. It is probably a good idea to every other week or so blow the rocks off with a turkey baster like you are doing.
