My frogspawn budded

Has anyone had frogspawn bud off on them, normally my frogspawn splits but today I found a small bud from it. Is this normal and do I need to care for it specially?

I've seen similar happenings in my tank with different types of coral, I wasn't able to do anything with it / them though. I'm not sure what you could do. Keep you fingers crossed!

I don't know for sure but from what I read there's nothing special to be done - it will thrive or die on its own.

Thanks and yeah I've had lots of other corals drop a polyp but never frogspawn, ima hope for the best!

My frogspawn seems to do this about one a month. So far only one of the pieces is surviving and just kinda attached to a rock. Not sure how its going to form a hard skeleton?...
