starting a 25gT nano tank with false back spill over AND under sand plenum. Have had great long term success with 40g plenum LR.

curious on lighting?
planning mostly shrooms and zoos, clown and xenia, etc..

Check out low wattage metal halide. They go as low as 35 watts. Search google for metal halide MP35. You will need a special ballast for this bulb, but you can screw it into a standard incandescent fixture Make sure the fixture can take high heat. The socket has to be ceramic, and all other parts metal.

Penetration in a 25 tall will be an issue. For the corals you listed I do think CF lighting will sufice. Placement should be midway to top of the tank. Depending nthe demensions of the tank, a single 150watt MH pendant would increase the variety of corals you could keep. It is really up to you.

20" H x 24" x 12" tank dims..

thinking PC like 65w and 20w actinic so

now I'm thinking if I even want to set it up at all.. might just add some light to the main tank and return for credit for more criters :)
