This was last night. Just over 24 hours since addition of the rock. The water is crystal clear! Don't mind my too small DIY construction paper background... I'll get a better one soon.

What brand also is it better to get the API reef test kit or the generic salt water one?

API is ok... I have a few Salifert kits for kh and cal. I find them more accurate all though I mess up a lot using them lol. I find just bringing it to my guy an have him test it lol.

But I do test regularly I just mess it up a few times lol.

Ok will get API but is it better to get the API Reef test kit and add on pH and Nitrate Or to Buy the API Saltwater Test kit and do the Reef add ons

Picked up 6 more LBS of Live Rock and a power head an Aqueon 700

700 GPH

Good had it in my 55 freshwater and I works really good picked up a Marineland 600 to replace it here are some pics

Omg used a test strip I was saving for when I thought I was cycled and everything checked out

Ph 7.0
Nitrites 0 ppm
Nitrates between 0-20 ppm
Need to get API test kit
