So what's the best way to get my ric to stay in one spot. I'm pretty sure he is being knocked over in the night.

Gotcha. I was going to get some but I didn't know how to go about picking this guy up because all he is attached to is some small tiny rock on his under side and he is really soft and I don't want to hurt him :/

Why do you think this? Is it moved from where you put it?

Then next time just glue the rock to your main scape. Use a super glue gel made of cyanoacrylate

So in the morning I put the lights on and my water is crystal clear. But then once the lights have been on the top half of the water gets a little cloudy! Anyone know why this would be?? Check water params last night and everything was fine besides nitrates which were around 20 after a water change! I'm stumped guys and gals

Point the powerhead at the top of the water.

Not stupid at all lol, I scrubbed it like you wouldn't believe haha. I pointed it at the surface now so hopefully that does the trick. Does it have anything to do with the diatom bloom I'm having currently in my sand?

So it looks like the cloudiness is coming out of the return pump, should I clean out that plastic pipe and the back chambers?
