Cool! We got a cleaner shrimp and love him, he thinks he is king of the tank and will climb right on your hand anytime you go in the tank. Beware, It tickles!

Here are the new polys! Anyone recognize them? The first is a lime green center and pale pink skirt/lashes and the second is a deeper pink/purple center with a speckled green skirt. I love the long lashes! He has some rely cool ones but some are 10-15 per polyp, so to get a frag with several polyps would have been a lot. I paid $20 for each if these, one has three heads and the other has eight. Click image for larger version

Nice pick up sand dollar! Not sure of the names though. If no one else chimes in with the names here's a website that I use, BigRed gave it to me!

No problem. I'm uber jealous of them. My lfs doesn't get any really cool ones in :/ they only have the usual fire and ice ones and some radioactive dragon eyes I think is what they are called

This wasn't an LFS, he was an independent out of his apartment. Was a little scared but took a friend, who has a reef tank too, for a little security. He was totally legit and had a very nice frag tank set up and dips the corals in front if you before he bags them. He's been in the hobby since he was 18 ( now 31) and has a friend in the wholesale business that he gets some deals from to start growing his stuff to frag. He was about 40 mins away but it was worth it and I'm sure I'll be back for more. My friend got three frags that were pretty cool too. She and I may research how to frag as they grow so we can swap but that will be a few months at least I'm sure.

That's a little long, most people do 10-12 hours blue, 8-10 hours whites usually.

Thanks everyone! I'm testing the water as we speak. Looks like one of the hermit crabs was out of its shell too and got picked on by someone. I found what I thought was it's shedding but it seemed more meaty 😢

Sorry to hear that. ammonia at .5 is seriously bad. It should stay at 0.
