Add the full 5lb and a cup or two of the black. Then add more as needed. Rinse the black sand well as it clouds water very well. Same with white

I started a homemade moonlight kit. Lol

"Kit" includes-

2 night light sockets
2 blue led night lights
Wire.

Done.





This is just one. I have another to add. Tomorrow ill add pics of the hood.

How do i hide the wires so i dont need to worry about water touching the wires? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. My only worry is i have alot of condensation in my hood... a lot. Would adding a small fan in the hood either pulling cooler air in or pushing hot air out be a good idea?

Well i ditched the hood... too much water was collecting and running down the sides. Goin with 2 36 watt pc bulbs

Thanks. The kit was $15 shipped. I cant decide if i want bew pc bulbs or another diy led kit in white
