Powerhead for 8g biocube?

Hey I need help. Im pretty much broke, hard time of the year. Anyways, I have an 8g biocube with about 11 pounds of LR, 2inches of LS, button polyps, feather dusters, and some zoanthids.. My question is, I have the regular pump that came with the cube. Im thinking I definetly need a powerhead, and a cheap one. Ive seen the pico kind. Is there a DIY project of some kind that I could do for now until I can buy a powerhead or should I just wait until I can afford one? (and if so, whats the best for this kind of build) Thanks in advance for any help!

Hydor Koralia Nano - 425 : Powerheads

i have one in my 26 along with two 550s, this is a small baby and not the greatest for my aplication, but i use it for surface agitation. in a small 8 gallon it should be more then plenty to get the whole tank flowing, and its onyl about 1.5" fat and 2-3" long
