While waiting for my 29 nano reef cycle I am starting to think about my stock and about a quarantine tank. Never quarantined with my fw but since sw fish are more Eco

Are more expensive I should quarantine. Planned fish are all pretty tiny so will my spare 5g be big enough. Already has lights and filter. Would a set up with heater, a aq 20, and bare bottom be ok? Do I medicate or not? My initial fish will be a pair of oscellaris clown fish. Since they are first in do they need to be quarantined. Do I need to quarantine inverts and coral ?

Don't medicate in QT just observe and medicate only if fish show signs of illness. I usually QT for 4-6 weeks (only 4 weeks or so if they seem healthy) What other stock are you planning? Clownfish can be aggressive so add them last of you plan other peaceful fishes :)

My current planned stock is two oscellaris clown fish and a tailspot blenny.

Then one or two from this list
Clown goby
Goby/ shrimp pair
Firefish
Six line wrasse
Royal gramma
Are all fish I like but still have to do a bit more compatibility research
