Red growth on new live rock?

So I'm new to keeping a SW aquarium, so I decided to start with something small. I'm using the fluval spec V with a minor filter modification.
I recently went out and bought some LR from my local LFS. After getting it in the tank I noticed some small feather dusters on it, but also these red growths. I guess I'm not describing it well enough, because my searches keep coming up empty handed. Any ideas?? I would really appreciate it!

It's a macro algae. You'll know more as it grows.

looks like red grape macro algae , it's a good algae for the tank most fish enjoy snacking on it,

as it grows it will get bushy and may need trimming from time to time
