Well my orchid is officially allowing me to take pics of her but she's still on alert about me, but she stayed still long enough to get 2 good shots.
I managed to finally take a good pic of the banggai cardinals without them moving too much I'm noticing all the fish are slowly getting used to me. Its awesome.
On a side note, my wife is completely in charge or stocking and coral choice in this tank, so with that said shes been begging for a yellowtail damsel for months now and what do I see when I get home? The tiniest little yellowtail I've ever seen he must be no bigger than 3/4" all my wife could say was she read somewhere that as long as you get them small and they're the smallest in the tank and alone, they'll be fine. Ugh wish me luck guys.

Thanks, so far so good, my clowns are holding their own, the cardinals are way bigger and the orchid takes no ones b.s. lol I'm using a fluval 25w full spectrum light with all moonlight and fs daylight modes. It reeeaaally makes the colors pop.

Looks great! That orchid dottyback is killer! Damsels usually get more belligerent with age so just watch him. But the tank looks nice.

Alright guys I did some surfing on /r/reeftank and I found some I have to have! I want to frag together a huge zoa garden as a center piece and get some long armed corals like a frogspawn or hammer as well. What do you think?

Love em! That first zoa is amazing lol I need one. I also recommend torch corals. They are beautiful. Zoa gardens are great! So much beauty with such little work to get it that way!

Why not make a Euphyllia garden and do all three. thats what i had was a huge branching green hammer, pink hammer, gold torch, and green frogspawn all in the center of my tank. Much more "life" to it than a zoa garden.

We have crabs! Lol well the good kind at least, my lfs finally got more blue leg hermits so I picked a few up and some extra shells, I think they all fought over this one but there can only be one victor lol. My oc clown was just too cute this morning so I snapped a pic as soon as we was still enough to get a good shot, enjoy guys.

Broke down my whole tank to move a couple months ago. Took some on a digital camera so if I can find the card I used and upload them I'll send you some. I basically built two pillars of rock and made an island in the middle for the garden

Ok guys I finally took the plunge and fragged up my zoa colony, all it took was some heavy duty wire cutters, a razor blade and super glue gel, it took me about 20min to do and it took them about 2hrs to recover and open back up after their traumatic experience lol here's some pics guys enjoy!

Looks like you put them on a good flat rock too. That will help out in them spreading good. Just a pointer, id save room for other corals especially if thats one of your highest rock platforms. Trust me you will end up getting some high light high flow corals before your done. Ive have to relocate coral and change rockscape countless amounts of times when i get something new. Especially in a tank your size, real estate is very valueable. Jusy trying to give advice but once you get the hang of fragging its really fun (except for superglue on your fingers!). And rearranging rockwork once established can be a HUGE headache.
