Just am starting a 24 gallon aquapod. I haven't laid sand yet. I am trying to determine shallow or deep and should I get live wet sand and mm. I already have a pretty good idea I just want to see what more expierenced owners would do.

If I could do everything over again, Dry sand, 90% dry rock, 10% live rock. Deep sand beds in a 24G aren't really going to leave you a ton of room since you need 4"+ to be a DSB & you're tank isn't that tall. I recommend a shallow bed.

I'd do a shallow bed on a 24G as well. Live or dry, up to you. But with a small tank you could do black, or pink sand...just something different.
