Spacing out rocks

This is my 30g tank and I'm wondering if I should provide more gaps and arch ways between my rocks
Say I do this, would the more flow promote more life on the rocks?? I'm new to this sorry if this topic has been covered many time

You can always play around with it. I've found that the least amount of rock touching the sand and the more "open" the rock work is, lends itself to being more efficient. Keeps dead spots from forming and detritus from building up. In the end, it's all up to your preference and what works for your tank.
