Striped star

When I introduced my new GSP frag the other day I saw small striped arms poking out from underneath the frag. It appears to be a small striped starfish. Does anybody know what kind? Or if it will ever emerge from frag? Does it get any larger? I know this is probably hard to say without a picture, but I really haven't seen the whole thing either.

Can't see anything from the picture, but I would guess a brittle star of some sort.

Probably a mini brittle star. Harmless, you probably already have a bunch in your rock as it is...

+1 I have them all over the place. I've had some get as large as 1.5" from tip to tip, but that's the biggest I've seen them.
