First lets cover what a Nano reef tank is. The generally accepted definition of a nano tank is any saltwater aquarium that is 20 gal or less in size. The 'classic' nano is of 5-10 gal.

Nanos seem to have a cult like following that is not to be reconned with. Each nano reefer looking to top the other with a smaller tank. More corals and inverts than the next, etc.

Nano tanks can be quite attractive and its best to get help from a fellow nanoist.

Posts requesting support for tanks of a capacity larger than 20 gal should not be placed in the nano forum. Place those in the parent Saltwater reef aquaria forum
