This is a long term list and not to be confused with someone wanting an overnight tank. Am i close to a starter tank?


24G Aquapod Nano-Aquarium System 150W 14,000K HQI
12" front to back, 18" side to side, and 16" height.
40 lbs Live Rock (thinking Fuji)
3 inches Aragonite sand


(1) Tail Spot Blenny

(1) Green Clown Goby

(2) Firefish

(2) Peppermint Shrimp

(3) Turbo Snail

(3) Nassarius Snail

(3) Cerith Snails

(3) Electric Blue Hermit Crab (Include shells)


Corals once the tank is seasoned



Questions


How does my stocking look? I wish to create a solid reef aquarium but have some action in it where possible.

Your list is pretty close to my cleaner crew in my 28 cube. I would suggest forgetting the turbos as they were a nuissance in my tank moving rock and corals (they grew from maybe 1" to racketball sized in 4 months). My are Mantis shrimp food now Use astrea snails instead. Smaller and less destructive but super glass cleaners. Also consider smaller hermits possibly (dwarf species) although the Electric Blues are cool.

If you intend on using 40 lbs LR in a 24 gallon cube, make sure it's small pieces. I had one big piece (60 lbs total in my 28 gallon and it made aquascaping a disaster. I have almost no open sand bed.
