4" or 7" sock filter?

I'm looking at the last piece to my sump. I'll be breaking down my 120 and downsizing to a 55. I'll be using a 29 to make my sump. I'll be running a CPR CS50 overflow box. Should I be using a 4" sock or should I try to use a 7" sock filter.

It doesn't really matter. I run 4 on my 55 setup but change them out frequently.
