90 Gallon Mixed Reef

Here is the mixed reef tank that has been a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG build process. (going on 2 years now...) I will try and get some macro shots of corals, fish, and inverts tonight.

Its a standard 90. 48x18 footprint. I am just VERY selective about getting VERY small frags so that they grow to MY tank. I do the same thing with fish. The helfrichi fire fish actually LOVES the conch and will defend against my naked clowns for it. The domino clown female (her mate was eaten by an eel that has been rehomed) has the run of the rainbow neme garden on the other side of the tank. The tangs sleep in the HUGE Fiji price of LR, and the chromis all bed down in my mind trick monti. Quite fun to watch all the nighttime prep for everyone.

I just watched the video on my computer, and did NOT realize until now you could hear my macaw in the background vying for attention!

The powder blue, the chocolate, the helfrichi, the domino and the naked are my boys. They all have names! Although I am considering moving the nakeds to my 29 bio code, the domino and helfrichi are mean to them, and it's only inverts in the cube... I might do that tonight!

Haha dominos are buttheads. It's always nice to see a healthy powder blue. Will you be getting him a bigger tank eventually?
