CPR Bak-Pak is a hang on back skimmer.

I'm not really up on the cube type tanks, so I don't have any experience to pass on regarding most of your questions. But I'm of the opinion that you can't really overskim a tank, so to #3 I'd answer "no"... it's not overkill. But whether or not you need it is dependent upon your bioload, water parameters, etc.

- yes and yes
- yes, but you can throw in some carbon if you feel like you need it
- not really. You can't overskim, but you can waste $ on a skimmer thats too big for your needs. I don't know what can fit on your tank, but the Octo HOB skimmers are on sale at Marine Solutions.
- I guess a 3g tank would look pretty cool, but I personally wouldn't set 1 up. It can be alot of work for a tiny tank.
- live rock rubble is always a good choice
- Octo BHF300F
- maybe, maybe not. They can get huge.
- depends on the species. Some are fine, some are not so fine, but all dig in the sand.
- think fast! lol
- your welcome :)
